At Evential, we take privacy seriously. This policy outlines how we handle data within our event intelligence platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide real-time event analytics and qualified lead reports:
- Account Data: Names, emails, and organization details provided during registration.
- Attendee Data: Information provided by organizers, including names, titles, and company affiliations.
- Engagement Data: Proximity-based data from badges used to track movement, dwell times, and booth visits.
2. Data Anonymization & Retention
Our architecture is built on "Privacy by Design" principles:
- Automated Scrubbing: Attendee PII is automatically deleted 30 days after an event concludes by default (adjustable by organizers).
- Permanent Anonymization: Spatial movement data is permanently stripped of identifiers once the retention window expires.
- Separation: Movement data and personal identities are stored in architecturally separate databases.
3. How We Use Data
Data is used exclusively to:
- Generate the Evential Dashboard analytics.
- Produce qualified lead reports for event sponsors.
- Provide anonymized platform benchmarks to help organizers improve event ROI.
4. Security
We utilize industry-standard security measures, including TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest via Firebase infrastructure.
